World Week in 1/2DL

Shwmae! We are Class 1/2 DL. Our teachers are Mrs Davies, Miss Lott and Mrs Parkinson. This term our topic is called ‘Carnival’ and we have also chosen China as our country to study for World Week. We have been very busy making collages of the Chinese flag and we have been colour mixing to paint cherry blossom trees. Our role-play area is a Chinese restaurant and we have been trying to use chopsticks. We have read a Chinese story called ‘The Magic Tea Bush’ and have made our own pop-up story cups. Last week we thought about some New Year Resolutions that we are going to try and keep. Fingers crossed!

We love being in class 1/2 DL as we love learning, playing with each other and having fun.
