Dear All,
Last week, we all enjoyed the Foundation Phase concerts, and I would like to thank you all for respecting the request not to bring young children to the concerts. The children work so hard learning their lines and songs and they only get one chance to perform them for you. Congratulations to the lucky raffle winners.
This week, we are looking forward to the KS2 and Nursery concerts. The Nursery concerts are on Wednesday morning and afternoon, and the KS2 concerts are on Thursday and Friday. If you have not yet requested tickets for the KS2 concerts, please try to do this as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Ticket cost 50p and include a raffle ticket. The KS2 concerts start at 2.00pm. If you have a child below Nursery age, you are welcome to come to the Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday afternoon.
On Saturday evening, the choir performed at the Cathedral. I hope that you enjoyed it, if you attended. If you missed it, the choir are also performing tonight at the Cathedral in a concert organised by MIND. Entry is free, and it starts at 7.00pm, so come along if you can.
Mrs Kidd and Mrs Martin are running an End of Term raffle for children, tickets are 50p and the prizes include a Chocolate Hamper and a voucher for Cefn Mably Farm. The draw will be in the last week.
All Clubs (except for Minecraft /Play and Football Club which finish this week) finished last week.
I need to remind you that dinner money must be paid in advance through the Parent Pay website. Any arrears need to be paid immediately so that your child’s account is in credit. Unfortunately, if arrears are not paid, we will have to ask you to provide a packed lunch, until you are in credit.
School Christmas Lunch
Next Monday 18th December is School Christmas Lunch. If your child would like Christmas Lunch, please order on the day and ensure that you have credited their Parentpay/Paypoint account before you order.
Our School Council have sent out a letter asking for help. They would like you to send in Christmas sweets and chocolates which they plan to donate to the Food Bank. If you are able to help, please send your donation in by Wednesday 13th December.
Next week is the last week of term and we will be having our Discos and Parties on Wednesday 20th December. Children can wear their party clothes. Letters will come home asking you for a donation of food for your child’s party and I would like to thank you in anticipation of your support. We always have an overwhelming response and the children really enjoy trying the different foods.
The Talent Shows will be on Thursday 21st December.
Please see the flyer below regarding a new Parent Group starting at The Share Centre this Wednesday. Please contact them direct for further information.
This week is another roll over.
Yours sincerely,
Mrs S Couch
