Dear All,

Well done to Class 5/6W for their assembly on Friday!

Representatives from Brownies and Girl Guides talked to girls from Year 3 upwards today about local groups in St Mary’s RC Church and St John’s Church on Risca Road. There are spaces and they are also looking for any volunteers who might be interested in helping with a club or starting up a local Rainbows group.

The girls have brought home a leaflet but if you want more details, you can ring the area rep. Lois Williams, on 01639 698486. Although some of these clubs meet in churches, it is not a religious organisation. They just meet wherever there is a free hall.

Milittlepad continued their series of coding workshops with Classes 3/4G and 3/4M today.

Also this afternoon, a group of Year 3 children in Class3/4G took part in a Roma Art Workshop at the Riverfront Theatre.

Another group of Year 3 pupils from Class 3/4M will have the same chance on Tuesday.

On Tuesday breaktime, to mark Valentine’s Day, The Friends of St Woolos are selling decorated biscuits or cakes at breaktime. Biscuits are two for 50p and cakes are 50p each. Please send your child in with no more than 50p to buy either biscuits or a cake.
