Dear Parent/Carer,
Year 4 and Year 5 pupils took part today in the first of a series of basketball workshops run by NewportLive.
A music workshop planned for Year 4 pupils to be run by staff and students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama has been postponed due to illness and will take place later in the term.
Tuesday’s lunch from Chartwells on Tuesday is a special extra-healthy option:
Chicken or quorn sausage in a bun, baked wedges and low sugar baked beans or salad & a fruit cocktail jelly.
Miss Murphy’s Inspire Parent/Teacher Fitness Training continues on Tuesday after school. Thank you to parents who joined us! We’re hoping that you’re going to come back for week two! This club is open to all parents and all activities are done with two levels of fitness, to suit the beginner. If you’d like to attend, there will be a children’s DVD running at the same time for school/nursery age pupils. Everyone is welcome. 😊
On Wednesday we will be joined by ADA Recycling, who visit us every year. They will be running a series of Eco Workshops in Key Stage Two.
Class 2S have their Class Assembly on Friday and it starts at 9.15am. Everyone is welcome to join us for this. If you’d like to come in once the school doors are open, to wait, that will be fine.

I’m sorry that the letter wasn’t sent out last week. It will come out tomorrow instead. Please return the reply slip school by Friday of this week. There will be a prize draw for a Foundation Phase and Key Stage Two prize winner from the returned slips, with each receiving a £5.00 gift card.
World Week
Thank you for sending in your questionnaires. If you didn’t get chance to return any by Friday, please send them in by tomorrow. The pupil and parent responses will be really helpful in deciding what activities to do in World Week next year.
Eco Team
Thank you very much for sending in so many Christmas cards! The final total was 7046 cards and the Eco Team are making a presentation in assembly on Wednesday to tell everyone about the winning class.
Yours sincerely,
